Global Logistics

This policy defines the processing of data required to initiate Service Status Mode. We collect this information to issue a return form and facilitate the immediate dispatch of replacement hardware. While status changes are updated in real-time, physical transit tracking is managed through the global PL network.

§ 1
Status Change & Privacy
Authentication
Status change data is retrieved via a dual-key check (Order Reference and Surname). This confirms identity to trigger return forms and replacements without requiring a full user account.
Data Minimization
The service interface displays status changes and replacement milestones only. For security, specific payment methods and exact street addresses are masked in this view.
Financial Handshake
Payment status is verified via the Revolut Merchant API. Montellec does not store full credit card numbers or sensitive banking credentials within the service registry.

Retention & Infrastructure
Infrastructure
Service data is served from secure registries within Google Workspace (USA), protected by Cloudflare Edge security. All traffic is encrypted via TLS 1.3.
Log Retention
Lookup logs are kept for 90 days to prevent unauthorized access. Physical logistics records are maintained in line with Irish tax and warranty regulations (6 years).
